Many modern women, of course, can stand for themselves, however there are some countries in which girls are exposed to discrimination and even attack therefore at a travel alone, it is worth thinking over attentively where it is possible to go.

There are some states in which it is unsafe to live and travel to women.

1. Turkey

In Turkey one of the most frequent crimes is violence over women and also stickings are very widespread. It is rather serious problem for tourists therefore it is better to visit this country with the company and to try not to walk one the street.

2. India

In India about 70% of women were exposed to family violence. In this country treat girls with disrespect, openly stick to them on the street. India sells women in slavery, and most of local residents marries up to 18 years.

3. REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA

The Republic of South Africa is also among the countries, dangerous to tourists. In this country a high rate of a robbery and rapes. Local believe that sex with the virgin can cure them of HIV and AIDS. The state takes measures, and even hotels protect with a barbed wire there.

4. Afghanistan

Afghanistan can commit an assault against tourists, kill or rape. And what else can be expected from the country in which the husband has legitimate right to kill the wife?

5. Egypt

In 2011 Egypt was captured by a wave of violence over women, and it became dangerous to travel to this country alone to girls. Besides the number of police on streets was reduced, and the number of crimes increased.

6. Iraq

Iraq – practically hell for women. In 2014 150 women who refused to be the victims of continuous sexual violence were executed.

7. Somalia

In this poor country of the woman constantly are exposed to sexual violence, and still that it is simply complex to imagine in the 21st century, become experimental in surgical experiments. In this country not each woman has an opportunity to give birth in hospital that leads both women in labor, and newborns to high rates of mortality.

8. Pakistan

In Pakistan became practically a norm to kill and cripple women, even own husbands are capable to do with impunity physical and psychological harm to wives. Here treat tourists too not in the best way.

9. Colombia

The most widespread crimes in Colombia – sexual violence and kidnapping of women. The police does not deal with such problems therefore criminals most often remain unpunished. Very dangerously to women in Colombia to use public transport.

10. Brazil

In Brazil a huge number of crimes which grows every year. The most frequent – the armed robberies and violence of sexual nature. The police is not engaged in such crimes and behaves detached, and even it is unfriendly in relation to tourists.

If nevertheless it was necessary to go to one of these countries alone, it is necessary to remember several rules to minimize probability of attack:

•     not to put on provocative, open and transparent clothes;
•     not to go outside in night-time;
•     not to drink alcohol;
•     not to carry all valuable things and money with self, to try to take the minimum sum of money, and to store the rest in the safe of hotel;
•     use only the official taxi, not to reach on lifts;
•     do not trust strangers.
